Our vision is to better people’s lives by promoting the use of evidence-informed social care interventions.

The Aims and Objectives of INSIA
INSIA aims to be at the forefront of social intervention assessment, providing global leadership. We will do this by developing approaches to, and availability of, synthesized research evidence through:
• supporting international coordination, cooperation, and collaboration in the production of social intervention assessments and systematic reviews
• developing and promoting methodological principles and guidelines for systematic reviews of social interventions
• developing and promoting tools and methods to share, translate and adapt systematic reviews of social interventions across different global settings and contexts
• promoting evidence-informed decision- and policy making in the field of social welfare.

Purpose
The purpose of the International Network for Social Intervention Assessment (INSIA) is:
• to develop and promote methodological principles and guidelines for undertaking assessments of social interventions
• to foster synergies and joint works in the production of assessments and systematic reviews
• to support the use of assessments and systematic reviews in the field of social interventions produced in other contexts
• to support evidence-informed decision and policy making in the field of social intervention assessment
• to provide a platform to share experiences and knowledge among members.
